Today we are presenting the fourth of the 12 stadiums in which the World Championships in Russia will be played.
The stadium, located in the center of Volgograd, formerly Stalingrad, is called simply – the Volgograd Arena and the home of the Rotor who dropped out of the Russian second league.
It was built on the ruins of the Central Stadium, which stood there from 1962 to 2015, and was officially opened in April this year after several postponements of the works.
The capacity of the stadium on the Volga coasts is 45,568 seats, and after the end of the Taliban it will be reduced by ten thousand.
At this stadium will be played four games of Mundiala:
June 18: Tunisia – England (Group G)
June 22: Nigeria – Island (Group D)
June 25: Saudi Arabia – Egypt (Group A)
June 28: Japan – Poland (group H)
