One of the best right-legs backs in the world for the past ten years, Brazil’s Dani Alves, due to injuries of knee ligaments, will almost certainly miss the World Cup in Russia in 2018.
Alves won the injury in the French Cup final, and the first information that they will miss the World Championship turned out to be accurate and the coach Tita will not be able to count on the services of PSG footballers.
The first exams showed knee ligaments, and it is not yet clear how long Dani Alves will be out of the field and will recover until the start of the next season.
Selector Tita will announce the preliminary list of players on May 14, and besides Danny Alves, players who compete for the right-back position are Danilo and Rafinha.
Brazil will play in the group with Costa Rica, Serbia and Switzerland at the World Cup, and the championship in Russia starts on June 15th.
